THE LION ACADEMY
Homeschool Program
The Lion Academy is a satellite program of Escondido Christian School that provides parents of 7th through 12th grade students, who desire to homeschool, access to a distinctly Christian educational program
- Families with a desire to homeschool
- Families with a parent at home to homeschool
- Students in grades 7th through 12th
There will be school provided curriculum with the option to request alternative curriculum, allowing more flexibility for parents and students to work with. Students will also have access to extracurricular programs such as sports and musical theater. There is also opportunity to attend student life activities including chapel, and field/mission trips. An option to take additional on-campus courses and college courses are available too. Lastly, your student will be able to graduate with an ECS diploma and attend the graduation ceremony.
Parents are expected to meet with the Lion Academy Coordinator on a regular basis and to turn in work samples, current course grades, and progress every 9 weeks. Parents must adhere to curriculum requirements for graduation and/or CIF as well as ECS standards to ensure academic integrity. We ask parents to be available to oversee the home base coursework during school hours.
Tuition is based on the different programs and additional fees apply for extracurricular activities.
Our application process is as follows:

- Interview with Head of Schools
